AABREKK - Right by the Glaciers

The Oldedalen valley is known far and wide for its fantastic scenery, and every year, tourists walk along the glacial-green lakes into the fairy-tale world of the glaciers. There is a path from the farm to the Brenndalsbreen glacier and the Jostedalsbreen National Park. And a little farther up the valley is the Briksdalsbreen glacier.

Farm life

In the Oldedalen valley, the goats are free to roam and frolic in the wild, unspoiled nature. Fed by glacial water and bathed in summer sunshine, heather and herbs grow on the mountainsides behind the farm. You can notice the difference in the goat cheese from Aabrekk – the delicious taste of traditional food from the slopes beneath the glacier.
