We offer accommodation in restored 18th and 19th century houses. These are part of the Trollbu farm cluster. There are three houses, two cabins and in the last there is one apartment on the 1st floor and one apartment on the 2nd floor. We have beds for a total of 22 persons in the three houses. The cabins and the apartment are equipped with kitchen, living room and WC/shower. Duvets and pillows in the bedrooms. Extra beds can be rented. There is a wood-burning stove in one of the cabins, number 2 Voljastova. All of the bathrooms are revovated in the winter 2023. The Trollbu farm cluster is situated in a quiet area. The Oldedalen valley is surrounded by high mountains, lush green mountainsides, blue-white glaciers and roaring waterfalls that dance their way down the mountainsides. Here you will sleep well!

TROLLBU

Trollbu (number 1) is a log cabin, built in the traditional style in 1992. The cabin has a shower and WC, kitchenette and living room on the ground floor. The bedrooms are up the stairs in the loft, one bedroom with a double bed and one with open solution with two single beds. The cabin is suitable for couples or a small family. The bathroom and parts of the cabin was renovated in 2023.

MOMESTOVA, 1st floor

Momestova is a house from the 1700s. The house has an apartment on the 1st floor (number 3) with kitchen, livingroom, bathroom (renovated in 2023) and three double bedrooms. It has it’s own entrance in front of the cabin.

The apartmen have beds for up to 6 persons.

VOLJASTOVA

Voljastova (number 2) is a typical Nordfjord house dating from 1850, like the one my great grandparents lived in. It was moved from Loen to the Trollbu farm cluster in 1995. Well equipped for 8 persons. Three bedrooms on the first floor. In the groundfloor there is a kitchen, a large living room and a bathroom (renovated in 2023). Fireplace in the living room.

The cabin have beds for up to 8 persons.

APARTMENT, 2nd floor MOMESTOVA

In the 2nd floor in Momestova there is an apartment with seperate entrance in the back of the cabin (number 4). Here are two large rooms with a hall between and a bathroom (renovated in 2023). In one of the rooms there are two double beds. This apartment is under renovation and in the other room there will come a smal kitchenette, dining table, a sofa and a TV before the season 2024. Picures will come.
